Ukrainian customs officials said they seized a violin that may be an original work of  the Italian master Antonio Stradivari.

The priced musicial instrument that can cost millons was found in the boot of a car trying to leave Ukraine on Wednesday. As the antique violin was labelled as “Antonius Stradiuarius Cremomentis Faciebad Anno 1713”, customs officials  sent it for the forensic expertise.

Stradivari works are extremely rare and valuable – there are about 400 in existance.
