More than 2 000 trucks blocked on the Polish-Ukrainian border, – Border Guard Service

Andrii Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, said that as of this morning, more than 2,400 cargo vehicles are waiting in line to cross the Polish border.

He added that only about 60 trucks can cross the border at each checkpoint.

As of now, the Ukrainian border guards do not report blocking of the passenger transportation at the checkpoints.

However, he mentioned that the overall number of people crossing the border has significantly decreased.

Earlier, president Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Polish authorities to solve the issue of blocking the border by Polish protesters.
