Then city mayor Hennadii Trukhanov informed about explosions in Odesa. He reported that the city was hit with three missiles. Three civilian residents were killed and three wounded during the attack.

Air Force press officer Illia Yevlash detailed that Odesa was attacked with Iskander ballistic missiles, which hit densely populated residential areas.

The officer added that Russian considers Odesa and Kharkiv to be key targets.

‘This is another manifestation of the bloodthirsty face of the Russian terror,’ he said.

The purpose of these attacks is to destabilize and intimidate Ukrainians. He added that the invaders attack Odesa with ballistic missiles that are difficult to intercept and shoot down. Only Patriot air defense systems can destroy such missiles.
