The Zaporizhzhia-based company “Bud-Tekhnologii” has won the government contract for the restoration of Kyiv’s Ohmatdyt hospital, despite allegations of inflated pricing.

The company’s bid was 307 million hryvnias, making it the third-highest among 14 bidders, with quatations ranging from 42 million to 310 million hryvnias.

The shortlist of bidders included three companies. However, one of them, “Mega Profit Group,” was disqualified due to issues with tax forms, while another, “DAK,” was dropped after it was revealed that its management was entangled in a corruption scandal. This sequence of events ultimately helped “Bud-Tekhnologii” win the tender.

Remarkably, “Bud-Tekhnologii” priced the repair of façade panels and interior wall finishes at 100 million hryvnias, which is, on average, twice as much as the offers from other companies.

It is worth noting that the “Ohmatdyt” children’s hospital in Kyiv was seriously damaged in a Russian missile attack on Ukraine’s capital on June 8.
