189 combat clashes reported in the past 24 hours- frontline update

On September 25, a total of 189 combat engagements were recorded across the entire front line, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.
Kharkiv Sector: Russian forces launched three attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk and Tykhe.
Kupiansk Sector: Ukrainian positions faced ten assaults in areas near Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka, and toward Lozova.
Lyman Sector: The enemy attacked 21 times, attempting to advance near seven settlements, as they were trying to push towards Hrekivka and Novolyubivka.
Kramatorsk Sector: Russian troops launched eight assaults near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Klishchiivka.
Toretsk Sector: Supported by aviation, the enemy conducted ten attacks near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Nelipivka.
Pokrovsk Sector: Ukrainian defenders halted 54 assaults toward Novotoretske, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Kostyantynivka, and Selydove. Nearly half of these attacks targeted the Selydove area, which was also targeted with guided bombs.
Kurakhove Sector: Ukrainian forces repelled 25 attacks near Tsukuryne, Hirnyk, Maksymilianivka, and Heorhiivka.
Vremivka Sector: Russian troops carried out eight assaults near Vuhledar and Vodiane.
Orikhiv Sector: Russian forces made five attempts to advance toward Ukrainian positions near Robotyne and Novoandriivka.
Prydniprovia Sector: Russian invaders launched two assaults on Ukrainian positions but were met with fierce resistance and suffered losses.
Volyn and Polissia Sectors: There were no signs of enemy offensive group formations.
Along the borders with Sumy and Chernihiv regions, Russian forces used guided bombs, artillery fire, and killer drones to target Ukrainian communities. Meanwhile, Russian guided bombs were reported to explode in Russia’s own Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces are carrying out counteroffensive operations. Over the past day, the enemy conducted 15 airstrikes, deploying 26 guided bombs.

On October 6, the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court of Ukraine continued hearing case No. 990/80/25, in which the fifth President and leader of the party “European Solidarity”, Petro Poroshenko, seeks to have Presidential Decree No. 81/2025 from February 12, 2025 — enacting sanctions by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) — declared illegal and annulled. The plaintiff claims the document was falsified and that the sanctions are a tool of political persecution of the opposition, contrary to international norms. Rinat Akhmetov’s Metinvest Group has completed the construction of an upgraded underground NATO Role 2 hospital in one of the hottest sectors of the frontline. This is the second stabilization point established under the Steel Front initiative in cooperation with the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new facility, funded by Metinvest with an investment of UAH 21 million, is more secure than the first one thanks to its deeper location underground (over 6 meters) and additional fortifications.
