Deputy defense minister Vitalii Polovenko continues unscheduled inspections of the supply of food to military units.
The deputy minister inspected the food supply to the military unit in the South-East of the country.
This has been the second unscheduled visit in a week – on January 19, Vitalii Polovenko inspected the warehouses of some military units in the East.
Vitalii Polovenko noted that the second inspection gave the same results. Some companies with which the Ministry of Defense concluded contracts at the end of 2023 cannot cope with their obligations regarding quality products and timely delivery.
In both cases, appropriate acts will be drawn up for all recorded violations. For non-compliance with the terms of the contract, the Ministry of Defense will impose fines on companies that miss delivery deadlines. After the previous inspection, the Ministry of Defense changed the suppliers of some military units.
