17 сlashes reported at Vremivka over past 24 hours – frontline update

It has been an intense day with 136 combat clashes across various fronts, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. The most action is unfolding in the Pokrovsk direction, though enemy forces are pressing on with attacks in the Kurakhove sector.

  • In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian troops faced off against Russian forces in three battles near Vovchansk. One fight is still raging.
  • Over in Kupyansk, enemy troops launched attacks near several key spots, including Vyshneve and Lozova. Of the 12 attacks, one is ongoing.
  • Russian forces tried to storm Ukrainian positions in the Lyman sector near Makiivka, Zarichne, and Bilohorivka. All 12 clashes have been resolved.
  • In Siversk, Ukrainian troops successfully stopped an enemy offensive near Verkhnokamianske.
  • Kramatorsk saw six battles, with one attack by Russian forces near Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar still underway.
  • In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops launched 11 assaults, trying to break through near Shcherbynivka and Nelipivka. Four clashes are still ongoing.

The Pokrovsk sector remains a major hotspot, with 28 battles reported near places like Vozdvyzhenka and Mykolaivka. Ukrainian forces held their ground, stopping every single enemy attack.

  • Meanwhile, in the Kurakhove sector, the enemy launched 23 assaults near Tsukuryne and other locations. All these battles have now ended.
  • In Vremivka, Russian forces made 17 attempts to push Ukrainian troops out of positions near Vuhledar and Katerynivka. Fifteen clashes have concluded, but two are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, three more battles occurred as Russian forces attacked near Novodanylivka.

Ukrainian defense forces are also continuing their operations in Russia’s Kursk region that sees Russian troops dropping guided bombs on their own communities,. So far, 14 airstrikes involving 20 precision bombs have been reported.

On other fronts, things remain relatively stable.

Today, special recognition goes to the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade for effectively crushing enemy forces and dealing heavy losses in manpower and equipment.
