‘8 to 1’: Zelensky reveals the ration of Russian and Ukrainian losses

In his interview with Kyodo News released on Zelensky’s official website Monday, the Ukrainian leader argued that since this year’s September after Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in Kursk, Russian losses have outnumbered the ones suffered by Ukraine.

“From the start of the Kursk operation, based on the data we have, Russia’s losses compared to Ukraine’s are 1:8. Eight Russians die for every Ukrainian killed. They have no regard for their people,” said Zelensky.

Zelensky also called out Moscow over their barbarian warfare tactics.

“We are fighting a large army, one that not only outnumbers us but is also better armed. Moreover, it treats its own citizens with shocking indifference, sending soldiers to die without hesitation. If they retreat, they are shot by their own,” said

Addressing reports suggesting Ukrainian losses have reached some 80,000, Zelensky firmly denied it.

“I want to be clear: the number is much lower, significantly so. However, it’s impossible to know exactly how many Ukrainians have died in temporarily occupied territories. The majority of those casualties are civilians, including military personnel, law enforcement, and others caught under occupation,” said the president.

Notorious supporter of the concept “in order for a cow to eat less and give more milk, it needs to be fed less and milked more” “Servant of the People” Danylo Hetmantsev, under the guise of “business requirements”, registered a draft law on the collection of VAT on all foreign purchases, regardless of their value. In other words, every Ukrainian, buying goods of any value and purpose abroad, when sending them to Ukraine, will have to pay an additional fifth part, or 20% of the cost of the goods.
