Russian troops have ramped up use of guided bombs in the border communities of the Sumy region. In the last 48 hours alone, they have launched over 100 of such bombs there , according to Sumy governor Volodymyr Artyukh.

By contrast, the enemy artillery and rocket fire have lost intensity “thanks to effective actions by Ukrainian defense forces” that keep hitting Russian artillery positions and ammunition depots.

On Thursday, the enemy airstrike hit Yunakivka community taking the lives of a 6-year-old girl and her 22-year-old brother.
