Ukrainian troops repel 21 attacks at Lyman over last 24 hours, – General Staff update

In the last 24 hours, the frontlines saw 124 combat encounters. The enemy launched five rocket strikes, deploying 18 rockets. They also conducted 65 air raids and dropped 107 guided aerial bombs. They also executed 4,673 shellings, with 129 of these coming from multiple launch rocket systems.

Airstrikes by Russian forces hit Ukrainian positions and settlements in areas such as Kiyanytsia, Yunakivka, and Simeikine in Sumy Oblast. The strikes also targeted Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Serebrianka, Diliivka, Nelypivka, Toretsk, Novodonetske, Novoukrainka, Vodiane, Oleksandropil, Mykolaivka, and Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Oblast; and Novoandriivka and Lobkove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In response, Ukrainian aviation and rocket artillery struck nine key targets in the areas where the Russian troops concentrated personnel and equipment, destroying two enemy command posts, three artillery systems, an ammunition depot, and three other significant enemy sites.

On the Kharkiv front, the enemy pressed forward with assaults, leading to five combat encounters near Vovchansk. Ukrainian forces repelled these attacks.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defense forces fended off ten enemy attacks. They successfully defended positions near Pishchane, Berestove, and in the direction of Hlushkivka.

On the Lyman front, Ukrainian troops repelled 21 enemy assaults around Makiyivka, Nevske, Novosadove, and within the Serebriansk Forest.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces thwarted eight enemy attacks near Ivanivka, Spyrne, Verkhnokamianske, and Vyimka.

The Kramatorsk direction saw 11 failed enemy attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses. Ukrainian defenders held strong in Chasiv Yar, Kalynivka, and Ivanivske.

The Toretsk front dealt with eight enemy attacks, backed by aviation. The enemy focused their efforts on Zaytseve, Druzhba, and New York.

In the Pokrovsk area, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 41 attacks. The enemy concentrated their efforts on Vozdvyzhenska, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Orlivka, and Mykolaivka.

On the Kurakhivka front, Ukrainian forces continued to hold their ground near Kostyantynivka. They repelled six enemy attempts to break through their defenses.

The Vremivka direction saw two enemy attacks near Vodiane and Rivnopillia, but the enemy achieved no success.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces had four clashes near Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.

In the Dnipropetrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops maintained their positions, repelling eight attacks from Russian forces.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there were no new signs of enemy offensive formations. The operational situation remains stable.

Along the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence using aviation and shell artillery to target border communities.

Ukrainian forces continue to inflict significant losses on the occupying troops. Overall, Russian forces sustained 1,080 casualties in the past 24 hours. Ukrainian troops also destroyed three tanks, five armored fighting vehicles, 65 artillery systems, three MLRS, one air defense system, 73 tactical drones, one cruise missile, 66 vehicles, and one piece of special equipment.
