Polish protesters block railway and scatter grain

On February 20, Polish protesters blocked the railway near the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint and spilled grain from a freight car onto the track.

‘This is a reaction to the grain from Ukraine. It is very bad. People are desperate. No one controls this: neither the Polish nor the Ukrainian authorities. We are bankrupt, because everything is brought from Ukraine without control,’ said the co-organizer of the protest of Polish farmers, Roman Kondruv.

Earlier, it was reported about incidents on the Polish-Ukrainian border.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian officials condemned blocking of the passenger transportation.
