For the first time during the full-scale invasion, the Russian army used a cluster air bomb to attack residential areas of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.

The guided air bomb with cluster munitions inside was dropped by Russians in Kharkiv region on March 3.

‘For the first time, we recorded a strike with a guided aerial bomb that carried cluster projectiles, that is, the cluster warhead. This increases the affected area. This is, of course, bad news for us. Because, unfortunately, even more civilians may be affected,’ the governor wrote.

The governor added that during the past day, the invaders targeted with air and artillery attacks 15 towns and villages in the region.
