Russian corvette destroyed in the Black Sea

During the night, another Russian warship was destroyed in the Black Sea by the Ukrainian intelligence and navy.

Corvette ‘Sergey Kotov’ was attacked with Magura V5 naval drones near the Kerch strait. The warship became the 26^th Russian Black Sea fleet vessel destroyed during the full-scale war.

‘Sergey Kotov’ was produced in 2022, had the crew of 80, and was equipped with artillery, air defense and rocket systems. The estimated cost of the ship was USD 65 million.

Later, the Ukrainian intelligence said to Radio Free Europe that the attack was thoroughly planned. The corvette was hit with 5 naval drones and ‘is destroyed for sure’.
