Ukraine’s Defense Minister met with British Defense Secretary

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, met with the Secretary of Defense of Great Britain, Grant Shapps, and the Chief of the Defense Staff, Admiral Tony Radakin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the priority needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi informed about the situation at the front and the latest actions of the enemy.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the British partners for comprehensive support, in particular for the supply of Storm Shadow missiles, which change the situation on the battlefield.

‘Great Britain is constantly persuading the free world to do the right thing. Together we prove that democracy can defeat autocracy,’ Umerov stated.
