Thermal power plant in Kyiv region destroyed during overnight missile attack

During the overnight massive attack, Russian missiles completely ruined Trypilska thermal power plant in Kyiv region.

The strike caused a large-scale fire in the turbine section. Now rescuers continue to fight the fire. None of the workers who were at the TPP at the time of the attack were injured.

After today’s attack, Centerenergo company has lost all its generation facilities. In 2022, Russian strikes destroyed the company’s power plant in Donetsk, and in March 2024 – in Kharkiv region.

As reported earlier, in the night, Russian invaders again hit with missiles and drones energy facilities in different regions of Ukraine.
