Kherson art museum identified more than 100 pictures stolen by Russians

As of now, the experts of the Kherson Art Museum have identified the whereabouts of 103 masterpieces stolen by the Russians during the occupation of city.

It is known that 102 pictures are now kept in Simferopol in the occupied Crimea. The location of one picture is now unknown but it has been confirmed that it was stolen by the occupiers during their retreat.

The museum statement stresses that in total, more than 10 thousand museum exhibits were stolen by the Russians during the occupation.

It is also noted that recently, the location of two stolen pictures was identified as they were shown in the Russian TV news.

The Kherson Art Museum continues work on the identification of the whereabouts of other stolen exhibits.
