Polish protesters have stopped blocking of the Dorogusk-Yahodyn checkpoint, which is the biggest on the Polish-Ukrainian border.

The protest lasted from February 9 to April 22.

‘Today at 1 pm, the protest of Polish farmers near the Dorogusk-Yahodyn checkpoint, which had been going on since February 9, ended. Registration and border crossing of cargo vehicles in both directions is carried out as usual,’ Ukraine’s State Border Service informs.

The decision to end the blockade came after calls from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who last week appealed to the farmers to stop blocking trade routes with Ukraine.
