The Kharkiv City Council has decided to exempt city entrepreneurs from paying the land and real estate taxes.
As reported by the press service, from April 1 to June 30 this year, individuals and legal entities, as well as entrepreneurs, will not pay tax after calculating rent for communal land plots.
The real estate tax was also abolished, not including land plots owned by legal entities.
In addition, single tax payers were granted a 100% reduction in tax liabilities.
According to the city council, such measures are intended to support local businesses and citizens in difficult conditions caused by regular Russian attacks.
Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov noted that these benefits will lead to the loss of about 1 billion hryvnias from the city budget, but the state has promised to compensate for the insufficient amount.
