Ukraine extends electricity consumption restrictions

On May 14, the capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers will be active for 15 hours – from 4:00 pm to 7:00 am of the following day.

This is a significant increase in duration compared to the previous day, when the restrictions were in effect for seven hours.

As of Tuesday morning, the electricity consumption in Ukraine continued to grow compared to Monday.

The capacity deficit in the grid is due to the ongoing Russian attacks on energy facilities throughout the country.

The company added that they continue to employ the emergency assistance from European countries but it is impossible to use it round o’clock.
