During the work of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the former president of Ukraine and leader of the ‘European Solidarity’ party Petro Poroshenko stated that Ukraine should receive an invitation to join the alliance.
‘We held meetings with representatives of dozens of delegations. And I can say that today Ukraine definitely has support all over the world,’ Poroshenko said.
The former president emphasized that Ukraine’s membership in NATO is the main prerequisite for the victory in the war.
He also reminded about Ukraine’s needs for air defense systems, fighter jets, munitions, and armored vehicles.
In addition, Petro Poroshenko stressed the importance of sanctions that will block Russian possibilities to finance the war.
