Ukraine will receive USD 7.9 billion, – prime minister

The government approved the draft agreement between Ukraine and the USA, which will allow to receive almost 7.9 billion dollars of financial and economic support.
‘These are funds within the new package of American aid, which will be directed to the budget of Ukraine,’ Denys Shmyhal explained.
In addition, the decision to attract up to 100 million euros from the European Investment Bank was supported. According to the prime minister, these funds will be used for lending to small and medium-sized businesses.
In total, Ukraine has already received 11.8 billion dollars of international financial aid this year. These are funds from the IMF, funds from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program, and funds from other partners.

On October 6, the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court of Ukraine continued hearing case No. 990/80/25, in which the fifth President and leader of the party “European Solidarity”, Petro Poroshenko, seeks to have Presidential Decree No. 81/2025 from February 12, 2025 — enacting sanctions by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) — declared illegal and annulled. Rinat Akhmetov’s Metinvest Group has completed the construction of an upgraded underground NATO Role 2 hospital in one of the hottest sectors of the frontline.
