Ukrenergo extends scheduled outages

The schedule of planned outages has been extended throughout Ukraine. The schedules will be in effect from 2 pm to 11 pm.

Ukrenergo noted that the reason for the extension is the increase in electricity consumption and the lack of capacity. Due to the large-scale damage, Ukrainian power plants cannot produce the same amount of electricity as before the beginning of the Russian attacks.

Ukraine attracts imports and emergency aid from European countries to overcome the deficit, but this is not enough to maintain the balance in the energy system.

Previously, Ukrenergo planned outages from 2 pm to 7 pm.
