Russian forces attacked Ukraine with several missiles and two dozen Shahed drones on early morning Wednesday. Most of these hostile targets were successfully intercepted, said Ukraine’s Air Defenses chief commander.

The night of July 10 was rough as Russian troops launched:

  • One Iskander-M ballistic missile
  • Four guided air missiles X-59/X-69
  • 20 Shahed attack drones

Ukrainian defense forces shot down 14 drones over the regions of Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Rivne, and Vinnytsia. The attacks came from occupied Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.

One of the attacks targeted the “port infrastructure” in the Odesa region. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted and destroyed three X-59/X-69 missiles.

The interception operations involved fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare units.
