Ukraine requires 25 Patriot missile defense systems to “fully secure” its airspace from Russian attacks, said the country’s president during a press conference on Monday.
“This would ensure complete coverage of Ukraine’s skies. I cannot disclose how many we currently have or will have,” Zelensky said.
It is worth noting in his March interview for CBS, Ukraine’s president estimated the country needed ‘at least 6-7 Patriot systems’ to ensure better protection for frontline regions.
