General Stuff’s update: 119 clashes reported on the Ukrainian frontline

The latest update from Ukraine’s General Staff  sees a dramatic increase in combat activities, with 119 clashes taking place along the front lines over the past 24 hours.

At Kharkiv, 18 significant confrontations were reported neea  Vovchansk and Hlyboke, with Russian forces sending aviation to support their assaults.

At Kupyansk, Ukkrainian defense forces repelled five attacks near Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.

At Lyman, eight enemy assaults were successfully fended off in areas such as Nevske  and Terny.

At Siversk, seven assaults were repelled near Bilohorivka, Luhansk regions,  and Rozdolivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne, Donetsk region.

At Kramatorsk,  Ukrainian troops  thwarted 6 attacks Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar.

The Toretsk sector dealt with 14 assaults, with Russian forces focusing on New York and Pivnichne where they use  bombing and assault aviation.

Meanwhile, the situation remains serious at Porkovsk where Ukrainian trooops repelled 31 assaults near Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Progress, and Yasnobrodivka where the enemy uses its avaition.

At Kurakhove, Russian forces launched 7 assaults trying to capture fortified positions near Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Karlivka but they wee pushed back by Ukrainian defenders.

At Vremivka, seven unsuccessful assaults were reported near Vodyane, Kostyantynivka, and Makarivka while Orikhiv sector dealt with 3 enemy assaults near Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka.

The Prydniprovskyi sector saw Ukrainian forces foil three infantry assaults as Russian forces continued their offensives there.

At Volyn and Polissya sectors, the  operational situation remains stable with no enemy activites detected.

Meanwhile, Russian troops used ther sabotage and reconnaissance activities in the border regions of Sumy and Chernihiv, shelling Ukrainian communities and planting landmines.
