In his Monday interview with Suspilne, Ukrenergo chairman Volodymyr Kudrytskyi sounded cautiously optimistic, predicting that Ukraine’s energy supply will improve in “September, October, and November.”

According to his estimates, Ukraine is poised to increase its energy generation as reactors at power stations come back online following maintenance work.

Kudrytskyi expressed confidence that the coming months will bring fewer and shorter blackouts, provided there are no missile attacks or infrastructure damage.

“We believe there’s a strong likelihood of navigating through this period with minimal disruptions,” said Kudrytskyi.

The anticipated improvements offer a glimmer of hope amidst Ukraine’s ongoing energy shortages exacerbated by Russian missile attacks.
