The Kremlin’s decision to label former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko as a “terrorist and extremist” got a wry response from the Ukrainian politician.

Taking to his social media accounts, Poroshenko announced a “naming contest’ for his supposed “terrorist organization,” promising a special prize to its winner.

The Russian authorities are not only troubled by Ukrainian defenders’ attacks but also by the need to blacklist him as a “terrorist and extremist”, said Poroshenko.

“In their crooked justice system, to add me to their [sanctions] registry , they need to include the name of the terrorist organization I supposedly belong to. They’re searching, filing lawsuits, and filing reports  to the ‘Ministry of Justice’. So, let’s make their job easier,” Poroshenko wrote.

He urged his followers to get creative so Russian officials could have lots of names to choose from.

“Believe me, they are closely monitoring my pages, especially on Telegram. Let them choose. And the person who comes up with the best name will receive a very special gift from me. Leave your suggestions in the comments,” he concluded.
