On Thurdsay, Ukraine’s defense ministry has unveiled the new “Army+” app, which is set to ‘digitize’ and streamline paperwork for the military, saving them huge numbers of man-hours. At this point, the app allows electronic reports.
“Starting today, August 8, the ‘Army+’ app is officially operational,” announced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. “It begins with essential functions and will soon include additional features. Right now, you can submit electronic reports quickly, replacing what used to take hours or even days.”
The app will soon get such features as electronic military IDs and surveys allowing troops to grade their unit provisioning.
“The goal of this app is to free the Ukrainian army from tedious paperwork,” said Zelensky adding that the plan will help “commanders and soldiers to focus on their duties, and not outdated bureaucracy and paperwork.”
Apart from e-reporting, “Army+” will feature documentation processing and other administrative tools. Plans include training courses, educational programs, and secure communication channels for reliable interaction among military personnel.
The app is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
