Ukrainian president and European Solidarity party leader Petro Poroshenko keeps quietly aiding Ukraine’s military. On August 22,  the politician visited the Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk to deliver a new batch of cutting-edge equipment.  This aid includes FPV drones, quad bikes and excavators, which are set to boost the capabilities of three brigades holding defenses in this border region.

Former Honor Guard Battalion  Col. Yevhen Solodai who now leads one of the brigades on the Kharkiv front thanked the former president for ‘crucial’ aid.

“We’ve received new resources that are crucial for our operations.. The excavators and drones are vital for fortifying our positions and engaging the enemy.”

Poroshenko praised the Ukrainian troops who threw a wrench in Russia’s attempts to create a buffer zone in Kharkiv.

“Colonel Solodai and his 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade are among the most experienced in this area. The new drones are indispensable in countering the enemy’s small assault groups,” Poroshenko stated.

36th Brigade marines also received new FPV drones and three quad bikes.
