2 civilians killed in Russian strike at Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi

In a devastating attack on Friday, August 23, Russian forces targeted the central area of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in Kharkiv Region. The assault left two civilians killed as Russian step up attacks on the key transport hub in Kharkiv.

Kharkiv governor Oleh Synegubov reported that at least two more people sustained injuries. Emergency workers are now on the scene of the strike assessing the damage and searching the area.

Meanwhile, a woman’s body has been recovered from the rubble in Kozacha Lopan after Russian troops targeted the area on August 21. Local officials believe another person might still be trapped under the debris.
