Power consumption across Ukraine remains at “high levels” as of Thursday, 5th September, according to Ukraine’s power grid operator Ukrenergo.

On 4th September, electricity demand peaked during the daytime hours, marking a 2.8% increase compared to the previous day.

Meanwhile,  today’s power consumption rose by an additional 5.6%, after the company eased earlier power supply restrictions.  The situation makes the company use electricity imports from Poland to keep levels of supply and demand in balance.

Meanwhile, 542 settlements across the country remain “fully or partially without power” because of ongoing hostilites.

Power outages have been rolled out in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions.
