Ukraine’s parliament says yes to resignation of foreign minister Kuleba

On Thusday, Ukraine’s Parliament has voted to dismiss Dmitry Kuleba from his position as Foreign Minister of Ukraine. His resignation received the votes of 240 lawmakers, with 45 abstaining, 44 not voting, and one voting against.
The vote came after Kuleba’s submitted his resignation letter on Tuesday just a day ahead the parliamentary session. It is worth noting the diplomat chose not to attend the session of the Verkhovna Rada to avoid the common farewell report.
Kuleba was at the helm of Ukraine’s foreing ministry since March 4, 2020.
