3 dead, 5 injured after Russian shelling hits Kostyantynivka

Three people were killed and five more injured on Wednesday after Russian shelling targeted Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region.

According to Donetsk governor Vadym Filashkin, the first attack came around noon, killing two elderly women aged 73 and 81. The shelling also damaged four houses, a shop, and a power line. An hour later, another strike took place, claiming one more life and leaving five people wounded.

The contested area continues to face frequent shelling amid the ongoing conflict.
