Woman killed, two more injured as Russian troops target Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs

A 74-year-old woman was killed and two more 67-year-old women were injured after a Russian airstrike hit the Zaporizhzhia district on Thursday, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. The attack saw the enemy use guided bombs that damaged private homes and residents’ property.
The governor said that Russian forces carried out at least four strikes on the Komyshuvakha and Novooleksandrivka communities, among a broader wave of 161 attacks across 12 towns and villages in the region over the past 24 hours.
Local authorities reported six airstrikes on Komyshuvakha, Yuliyivka, Hryhorivka, Pyatykhatky, Zherebyanka, and Novodarivka. Meanwhile, 67 drones of various types attacked Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, and Malynivka. Huliaipole and Robotyne also faced eight MLRS strikes.
In total, the 80 artillery strikes on Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Levadne.
Local authorities reported 32 instances of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
