In early hours of Thusday, a Russian combat drone was spotted flying at a “dangerously low altitude” near the Rivne nuclear power plant, said Ukraine’s nuclear operator Energoatom.

The company continues to inform the relevant state agencies about each instance of such activity.

“Energy terror remains one of the enemy’s tactics in this war. However, it must be stopped as quickly as possible,” said Enegroatom in its statement.

The incident highlights the ongoing risks to Ukraine’s critical infrastructure as Russia is stepping up its attacks ahead of a winter season.
