Russian troops have launched a second strike on Kharkiv today, this time hitting a densely populated residential area with a guided bomb. The strike targeted a high-rise building in the Kyiv district of the city.

So far, two civilian casualties have been confirmed.

“The occupiers struck open areas, firing about four guided bombs. The victims—a man and a woman—were civilians, their identities are being confirmed. At the time, they were out in the street. At least three others have been injured,” reported Kharkiv governor Oleg Syniehubov.

Earlier today, on October 8, Russian troops also attacked a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv’s Industrial district.
