Germany pledges 1.€1.4 billion aid to shore up Ukraine defenses by the end of 2024.

On October 11, German chancellor Olaf Scholz revealed that Berlin will deliver a new military aid package worth €1.4 billion to Ukraine by the end of 2024.
During his joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky who is on a visit to Germany, Scholz said that his country will join forces with Belgium, Denmark, and Norway to get Ukraine air defense systems (IRIS-T), Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, howitzers, artillery installations, armored vehicles, combat drones, radars, and ammunition.
