210 combat engagements reported in past 24 hours – Ukraine’s General Staff

A total of 210 combat clashes unfolded in the past 24 hours, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. The day was aslo marked by an uprecedented number of drone attacks – Ukrainian cities were targeted by 1,450 kamikaze drones.

Russian forces conducted 62 airstrikes across Ukrainian positions and civilian areas, including the drop of 113 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy unleashed over 4,060 artillery strikes, with 125 of those coming from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Russian airstrikes targeted several locations, including Myropillia, Pysarivka, Staryi Saltivka, Yampilivka, Torske, Lyman, and others.

Ukraine’s defenders struck back hard, Their aviation, missile troops, and artillery forces hit 20 areas where Russian troops and military equipment were concentrated. They also managed to destroy another critical enemy target.

On various fronts, Ukraine held its ground despite the onslaught. In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to storm Ukrainian positions seven times near Vovchansk and Starytsia but failed every time.

Meanwhile, over in the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces launched 19 attacks. Ukrainian defenders fought off Russian assault teams near Holubivka, Stepanova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Vyshneve, and Nadia.

Things were no different in the Lyman sector, where the invaders tried to breach Ukrainian lines 21 times in areas such as Hrekivka, Druzhelyubivka, Katerynivka, and Torske.

The enemy also targeted the Kramatorsk sector, with eight attacks near Hryhorivka, Minkivka, Chasiv Yar, and Ivanivske. Further south, Toretsk was hit with eight attacks in the direction of Toretsk, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian soldiers fended off 50 assaults, primarily in the areas of Sukha Balka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Novotoretske, Mikhailivka, Lysivka, and Selidove. The fiercest fighting centered around Promin and Selidove.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 47 attacks. The Russian troops tried pushing forward near Katerynivka, Antonivka, and Heorhiivka, while other clashes happened near Izmailivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Hirnyk, Kostyantynivka, Zoryane, Hostre, and Vodyane.

It wasn’t much better for the Russians in the Vremivka sector, where they attempted 11 assaults on Ukrainian positions around Vuhledar and Levadne but didn’t get far.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops pushed back an enemy attack near Novoandrievka, and over in the Dnipro sector, Russian forces tried and failed five times to dislodge Ukrainian defenders.

Meanwhile, in Kursk Oblast, chaos reigns as Russian aviation levels its own towns. In the last 24 hours, Russian planes conducted 31 airstrikes, dropping 58 bombs on their own territory.

On the Volyn and Polissya fronts, there are no signs of enemy offensive group formations, while along the Chernihiv and Sumy borders, Russian artillery and aviation continue hammering Ukrainian towns from across the Russian side.

In the last 24 hours alone, Russian forces lost 1,530 troops while Ukrainian units also took out 13 tanks, 51 armored vehicles, 23 artillery systems, 48 operational-level drones, 93 vehicles, and two special units of enemy equipment.
