Ukraine’s General Staff: 187 battles reported on frontlines on Monday

On November 11, Ukrainian forces faced 187 battles along the entire frontline, with fighting escalating at Kurakhove.
Updated reports confirm that Russian forces launched four missile strikes and 84 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and civilian areas. They dropped 145 guided bombs and fired over 5,000 shells, including 107 from MLRS systems, and deployed approximately 1,500 kamikaze drones in attacks.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units responded by targeting 10 Russian troop concentrations and destroying two enemy artillery systems.
- Kharkiv Front: Russian forces attempted eight assaults near Vovchansk but failed. Airstrikes hit Kozacha Lopan, where the enemy dropped two guided bombs.
- Kupiansk Front: Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian assaults near Kyndrashivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kolisnykivka.
- Lyman Front: Russian forces escalated air attacks, targeting Zarichne, Lyman, and Yampilivka with guided bombs. Ukrainian troops repelled 10 assaults as Russian forces attempted to penetrate near Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, Novomykhailivka, and Serebrianka.
- Siversk Front: Ukrainian forces held their ground against a Russian assault near Vyimka, while Russian airstrikes hit Zakytne, Dronivka, and Siversk.
- Kramatorsk Front: Russian forces launched three unsuccessful attacks around Chasiv Yar.
- Toretsk Front: Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka four times, but defenders held strong.
- Pokrovsk Front: Ukrainian troops stopped 50 Russian advances near Myroliubivka, Promin, Hryhorivka, Krutyi Yar, Petrivka, Pustynka, Ukrainka, and Lysivka, with major attacks focused on Selydove and Promin.
- Kurakhove Front: The most intense fighting took place here, with 57 Russian attacks repelled. The main targets were Illynka, Novoselydivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilyanivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Katerynivka, Kreminna Balka, Sontsivka, Zorya, and Kurakhove.
- Vremivka Front: Russian troops attempted 14 assaults near Trudove, Makarivka, Novodarivka, and Rivnopil, using bombers and strike aircraft.
- Orikhiv Front: Russian aviation backed attacks on Ukrainian positions near Novoandriivka.
- Prydniprovsk Front: Russian forces launched five assaults, attempting to push Ukrainian units back but failing. They also attacked Odradokamyanka and Vesele with unguided missiles.
- Volyn and Polissia Fronts: No signs indicate enemy offensive preparations here.
Russian artillery and air forces continue to strike Ukrainian border areas from Russian territory, particularly targeting regions near Chernihiv and Sumy.
Rinat Akhmetov’s Metinvest Group has completed the construction of an upgraded underground NATO Role 2 hospital in one of the hottest sectors of the frontline. This is the second stabilization point established under the Steel Front initiative in cooperation with the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new facility, funded by Metinvest with an investment of UAH 21 million, is more secure than the first one thanks to its deeper location underground (over 6 meters) and additional fortifications.
Five armored vehicles “Kozak” have received a new mission – thanks to the support of Metinvest, they have been upgraded to full-fledged command and staff vehicles. These upgraded vehicles are now operating on the front line.
A kamikaze drone flies directly toward an armored personnel carrier. But instead of penetrating the hull, it explodes on a steel screen. The crew survives. This is the new reality for Ukrainian forces, who have received enhanced protection thanks to the Metinvest project within “Steel Front of Rinat Akhmetov”.
To commemorate the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, “Bukvy” has compiled data on the largest donors supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them there are charitable foundations and businesses. The list includes, in particular, foundations that provide assistance exclusively from their own resources, without fundraising (such as SCM by Rinat Akhmetov, Epicenter, etc.).
In just 1.5 months, Ukrainian specialists have created an innovative protective shell for the control modules of anti-aircraft missile systems (AMS) Patriot and Iris-T SLM. This development was another step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, aimed at protecting key elements of the air defense system from debris damage.
