Russia launches 1st missile-drone attack on Kyiv in 73 days – city officials

Ukraine’s capital came under attack of Russian missiles and drones on the Wednesday morning, marking the first attack of this type in the last 73 days.
Preliminary reports indicate that the assault involved air-launched cruise missiles, KN-23/KN-24/Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and Shahed/Geran/Gerbera/Parodiya-type drones
The air raid alert in Kyiv went off at 6:30 am when drones were spotted, and moments later came Russian cruise and ballistic missiles. After the missile attack was foiled, drones resumed their attack in Kyiv.
It lasted more than two hours. Ukrainian air defense forces intercepted several cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and approximately 10 drones.
There have been no reports of damage or casualties in Ukraine’s capital.
