8 people killed including a child in Russia’s drone attack in Glukhiv

At least 8 people were killed in Hlukhiv, Sumy region, after two Russian drones struck a local dormitory in the late hours of Monday. Among the fatalitiies is an 8-year-old boy. Twelve people, including two children aged 10 and 11, sustained injuries.

As a result of the attack, one of a dormitory’s sections collapsed. Rescue operations are ongoing, as people may still be trapped under the rubble.  The strike also damaged two residential buildings and a hospital.

Ukraine’s law enforcement has launched criminal proceedings under Article 438 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code, addressing “violations of the laws and customs of war.”
