Over the 10 months of 2024, Ukrainian police have arrested 179 individuals who committed arson attacks on the orders from Russian intelligence services. The detained saboteurs targeted military vehicles, railway infrastructure, and state-owned enterprises in an attempt to destabilize the country.

According to Deputy Head of the National Police Andrii Nebytov, Russian operatives recruited saboteurs through Telegram channels, but Ukrainian police still tracked them and preventing many acts of sabotage.

Nebytov praised the work of Ukrainian law enforcement that helps  maintain order and security in the country amid the ongoing war.  In the eastern regions, police officers often have to work under relentless shelling and FPV drone strikes, but still manage to solve crimes and help those affected by the violence.
