Ukraine’s state energy operator, Ukrenergo, said there will be rolling power outages in Ukraine on Wednesday, November 27. The planned power cuts will follow a single schedule, running from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, as its crews work to repair energy facilities damaged during a missile and drone attack on November 17.

Restoration efforts are ongoing, with energy teams trying to put back into action the damaged equipment. Ukrenergo emphasized that the schedule and extent of outages may be adjusted throughout the day depending on the situation.

The power operator also urged residents to conserve electricity by avoiding the use of high-power appliances as responsible energy is critical while it is trying to balance the hobbled power system.
