In the early hours of Thursday, Ukraine woke to the sound of explosions as Russian forces launched a massive missile attack targeting multiple regions. The strikes that came in two waves targeted critical energy infrastructure, leaving many communities in the dark.

According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russian forces first fired Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea, hitting regions like Odesa, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Volyn, and Lviv. Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, ballistic missiles shook the city, with three separate strikes hammering its Kyivskyi district. Officials are still assessing the aftermath and checking for casualties.

Ukraine’s Energy Minister, Herman Halushchenko, confirmed that the country’s power grid suffered severe damage. As a result, Ukrenergo implemented emergency power outages across affected areas, including Volyn, where missile impact was allegedly most ruinious.

Air raid alerts are still active, as new missiles launched by Russian aviation continue to threaten Ukrainian cities and infrustructure.

Notorious supporter of the concept “in order for a cow to eat less and give more milk, it needs to be fed less and milked more” “Servant of the People” Danylo Hetmantsev, under the guise of “business requirements”, registered a draft law on the collection of VAT on all foreign purchases, regardless of their value. In other words, every Ukrainian, buying goods of any value and purpose abroad, when sending them to Ukraine, will have to pay an additional fifth part, or 20% of the cost of the goods.
