Zelensky and Scholz visit the exhibition of advanced drones in Kyiv

On Monday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz joined Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky for a visit to the exhibition of advanced drones many of which have parts produced by German companies. . The showcase featured “smart” aerial and ground drones, FPV (first-person view) models, and their control systems.
“These drones—airborne, ground-based, FPVs, and advanced control systems—are already aiding our defenders. It’s crucial that Ukraine is producing such technology, especially in partnership with Germany,” Zelenskyy said with visible pride.
The event underscored the importance of joint efforts between Ukrainian manufacturers and their German partners in advancing military technology. Zelensky and Scholz also met with representatives from the companies involved, exchanging insights and expressing gratitude for their contributions to Ukraine’s defense.
