Kateryna Chernohorenko, a deputy defense minister, during a meeting in Kyiv with the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Estonia, said that Ukraine calls on foreign partners to join IT coalition projects.
The deputy minister thanked Estonia for its support in the fight against Russian aggression, for its leadership in creating an IT coalition, and for advocating this direction among other countries.
According to her, Ukraine needs asymmetric solutions in response to Russian invasion, in particular technological innovations, as well as interoperable combat systems.
The strengthening of the efficiency of the Ukrainian army is facilitated by the simplification and digitalization of processes. At the same time, the ministry is developing online services that will be available to Ukrainian military personnel.
The IT Coalition is a group of countries within the Ramstein group under the leadership of Estonia and Luxembourg, which supports developments in the field of IT, communications, and cyber security.

On October 6, the Administrative Cassation Court within the Supreme Court of Ukraine continued hearing case No. 990/80/25, in which the fifth President and leader of the party “European Solidarity”, Petro Poroshenko, seeks to have Presidential Decree No. 81/2025 from February 12, 2025 — enacting sanctions by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) — declared illegal and annulled. The plaintiff claims the document was falsified and that the sanctions are a tool of political persecution of the opposition, contrary to international norms. Rinat Akhmetov’s Metinvest Group has completed the construction of an upgraded underground NATO Role 2 hospital in one of the hottest sectors of the frontline. This is the second stabilization point established under the Steel Front initiative in cooperation with the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
