On January 2 morning, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack targeting Ukrainian cities.

The Commander-in-Chief noted that today’s attack repeated the mass attack of the Russians on December 29, 2023, when the invaders hit using different types of missiles.

The enemy again attacked civilian and critical infrastructure. Most missiles were targeting Kyiv.

The Ukrainian air defense destroyed all 35 drones launched by the Russian troops.

Later, the invaders launched at least 70 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 10 Kinzhal missiles. In additions Russians attacked with 3 sea-based Caliber cruise missiles, 12 Iskander ballistic missiles and 4 Kh-31 anti-radar missiles.

The Ukrainian air defense intercepted all 10 Kinzhal missiles, 59 out of 70 Kh-101 missiles, and all 3 Caliber missiles.

President Zelensky informed about 4 people killed and 92 wounded.
