The former president of Ukraine and leader of the ‘European Solidarity’ party Petro Poroshenko offered help to restore Roman Shukhevych museum in Lviv.

Poroshenko sent a letter to the director of the Lviv Historical Museum regarding cooperation in the restoration.

‘The Foundation offers financing for the immediate full reconstruction (restoration) of the Museum, which should continue to serve to preserve the historical memory of the struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence,’ the letter says.

In order to realize this goal, the Poroshenko Foundation provided a copy of a bank guarantee regarding the allocation of funds for the needs of the Museum’s restoration and a proposal regarding the Supervisory Board of the Museum’s restoration project.

The museum was ruined after a Russian drone attack.
