1 dead, 5 wounded after Russian shelling hits Nikopol

A  Russian bombardment of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, has left one person dead and five others injured, according to Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Regional Military Administration.

The  Nikopol and surrounding areas were targeted by Russian artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).   Lysak said it was a rough night morning for people in Nikopol and nearby communities of  Myrove, Marhanets, and Pokrovske communities.

The shelling caused fires, damaging a residential building and a farm facility. The explosions also hit three apartment buildings, nine private homes, several shops, a café, a dental clinic adamaging gas pipelines power lines in the area.

Meanwhile, emergency service workers are busy clearing debris in Kryvyi Rih after a strike hit a service station. Updated reports indicate that the stirke damage a school, a dormitory, and a gas station.
