A massive artillery shelling of Kherson killed one person and left nine others injured.
According to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin, the Russian troops have relentlessly bombaded the city since the early hours on Friday – he called the situation real ‘hell”.
Explosions have been reported in all districts of the city. The Russian attacks targeted residential areas, as well as social and critical infrastructure.
“As of now, we know of one fatality and nine injured. My condolences to the family of the deceased man,” Prokudin wrote on social media.
As of 9:00 a.m., the shelling of Kherson is ongoing. The onslaught started at 5:00 a.m., there were even attempts by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to sneak into the city.
